Ring "amber", silver, handmade, 925o ring with 4g of amber baltic
Amber (ἤlectron) is a petrified resin used to make decorative objects. Although it is not mineral, it is sometimes considered and used as a gemstone. Most of the world's amber is 30-90 million years old. Semi-fossil resin or almost petrified amber is called burlap. Some pieces of amber have enclosed well-preserved insects of several million years of age, which are of great palaeontological value.
