Maria Georgantzi

From her childhood, Maria painted little girls with big expressive eyes, figures with simplicity and themes that are easy for the child's mind but difficult for an adult to understand. This childhood is called naïve art. Naïve art (or Toddler art) is a category of art characterized by a childlike simplicity, both in material and content as well as in technique. The word Naif is now international, but comes from the French naive meaning naive. But the fact that there are so many naive artists, with their works, who have little or no visual education, this alone proves that the term often does not apply.
